‘Christian Schools Workers, partnering with local Christian communities to enable young people in schools to critically engage with the Christian faith in a fun and relevant way.’
The crossteach Trust began in Tunbridge Wells in 2001. Our work has since developed into schools in other areas of the country.
For a full list of the schools where we work go to the schools listing page.
The Trust aims to give young people the opportunity to explore the Christian faith for themselves. It is hoped that through activities such as PSHRE lessons, assemblies, lunch clubs and experiences, every student will be better placed to make their own informed response to the claims of Jesus Christ.
crossteach offer their services to schools free of charge and employ workers who are able to:
- Deliver teaching that accurately portrays Christian beliefs as set out in our Statement of Faith
- Meet the highest national curriculum standards of good teaching practice
To date, our work has been very well received by many different schools by both staff and students. Read some of the feedback we have received from schools here.
crossteach seeks to form effective links with local churches and youth workers to ensure that the students that they are working with are informed of other youth work activities in their locality.
