For Churches
A Genuine Partnership in the Gospel
At crossteach, we are not simply looking for supporters — we are looking for partners.
We believe that local churches and crossteach teams are stronger together. By bringing together our skills, resources and prayers, we can make the most of the many opportunities to teach all young people in our local communities about the Christian faith.
We provide a trusted, consistent Christian presence in local schools. Through lessons, clubs, and events, we build relationships with pupils and staff and create space for thoughtful engagement with the gospel. For many churches, this offers a meaningful and practical way to extend their reach into schools in their local area and community.
What Partnership Looks Like
Partnership is active and relational. From your side, it might include:
Prayer
Faithful prayer is foundational. We depend on churches to pray:
- For open doors in local schools
- For clarity and courage in teaching
- For pupils exploring the claims of Christ
- For Christian staff and students living out their faith
Financial Giving
We provide our services to schools free of charge. Church giving enables us to:
- Employ trained, professional staff
- Maintain a consistent presence in schools
- Develop high-quality teaching resources
- Sustain and grow the work long-term
Volunteers
Church members can serve alongside us by:
- Helping run Easter and Christmas Experiences
- Supporting events and school visits
- Assisting practically behind the scenes
(Training is provided, and volunteers follow safeguarding and DBS requirements.)
Invitation & Advocacy
Invite us to speak at:
- Sunday services
- Prayer meetings
- Mission events
We love helping churches see and celebrate what God is doing in local schools.
Supporting the “Dannis”
Our work supports Christian pupils and staff seeking to live out their faith within school communities.
We often describe them as “Dannis” — like the Book of Daniel — navigating life in an environment that can feel spiritually unfamiliar, and at times, challenging.
We teach, equip and encourage these Christians:
- To stand firm in faithful obedience to the gospel
- To speak about their faith with clarity and gentleness
- To help their peers understand Christianity better
- To explore more deeply the life, death and resurrection of Jesus
It is a great encouragement to see many standing firm with courage and integrity. Churches partnering with us share in that encouragement.
Looking for “Sams”
We also long to see children like Samuel — those who recognise God’s voice and respond in faithful obedience.
Like Samuel, we pray for pupils who:
- Listen carefully
- Respond obediently
- Grow in faith from a young age
Through clear teaching and thoughtful engagement in schools, we aim to create opportunities where young people can hear and respond to the good news of Jesus.
Easter and Christmas Experience
Our Easter and Christmas Experiences are a wonderful way for churches to welcome local school pupils into their building.
- Designed for Year 5-8 pupils
- One-hour interactive experience
- Suitable for classes of up to 30 pupils
- Training available for churches in areas without a local team
These events often open doors for ongoing relationships between churches and local schools.
A Shared Mission
Supporting churches come from a range of evangelical denominations and share our commitment to our basis of faith.
Together, we seek to serve schools faithfully, strengthen young believers, and ensure that every young person has the opportunity to hear and explore the Christian faith.
If your church would like to explore partnership, we would love to start a conversation.
